My Universe (Ring of Hope Poetry Slam 2015, Champion)

A poem in 2015 that won a Poetry Slam.

You are my universe
Our love is beyond time and space
For every dimension, our love exists
It will exist.

Your eyes resemble black holes
Intense gravity that could rip matter apart
But does it matter?
For those eyes, I'm willing to be ripped apart.

Your soul is like a nebulas
Giving birth to beautiful stars, that shine my own soul.
For every shadow I see
For every darkness, I feel
Slowly fades away in your presence.

You are my universe
Our love is beyond time and space
For every dimension, our love exists
It will exist.

Your voice is the soothing sound of the heavens.
The tranquillity,
prosperity and
peace only exists in your voice.

Your body... (Sighs then laughs)
Is like a supernova
for every atom falls to your core and
bounce back to me as seas of matter of indefinite temperature
and,
That body, that supernova is the supernova that had constructed my soul.

You are my universe
Our love is beyond time and space
For every dimension, our love exists
It will exist.

Thanks to Einstein's special theory of relativity
Time slows down when you're around
And thanks to Pauli's exclusion principle
That proves that there can only be one you in existence
And that one you
are my universe.
